Our story begins in the Lake District where nature washes over you

The spirit of outdoor living originated here hundreds of years ago and is as strong now and important as it has ever been. From the Great Romantics to Wainwright, we all carry an appreciation of the natural world and are inspired by its raw beauty that invigorates the soul.

Firehouse in Kendal has a manufacturing team of carpenters, stonemasons, blacksmiths and engineers. We have built our business on delivering bespoke projects for the home including beautiful fireplaces, renewable energy, media walls and outdoor living projects of huge distinction. Our ‘Ceda’ range of cedar hot tubs and saunas was born out of this considerable pool of experience. We always loved using cedar in our projects for its aesthetic and enduring properties. However when you experience the sweet fragrance of this beautiful timber when immersed in water there is nothing to compare, as it transports you back into the forest as soon as you close your eyes.

We have a 30,000 sq ft manufacturing facility and showroom and we welcome you to see and experience our products. Also you can meet the team and see your cedar wood hot tub or sauna project being manufactured and fully understand the love that goes into every detail.
